Just wanted to send you some health nuggets to encourage you this week to Eat Clean and Stay Focused on your Goals!
Have you ever heard the old saying ?YOU ARE WHAT YOU EAT?? Well it?s so true.
Depending on the food choices you make can greatly help or harm your body. Food is a source of fuel like gas is for the engine in your car. When I first bought my Mercedes car the dealership warned "You have to use High grade Fuel in This Car" he began to tell me that if I don?t use the proper fuel over the period of time I would destroy the engine in the car and it will not operate like it should. Well you can apply this same analogy with our bodies today. When we are young we are full of life and energy. No diabetes, blood pressure, obesity etc. Well what happened between then and now? Only you know but I can guess that we have not made the best of "fuel" choices, including myself. Our foods should boost our immune system and give us strength to fight off virus and disease. Where will our bodies get it from? Are we going against the God given design by putting low-grade fuel in a high performance vehicle? This body is the means by which we live on this earth if we don?t fuel ourselves properly? Who will? I challenge you today to chew on todays health nugget and put your HEALTH1st! Keep it simple, eat fresh and eat clean! Use your Micah?s Food Ladder or Tosca?s Eat Clean List to select your foods and post these goals on your refrigerator!

- Increase vitamins
- Cut Sodium
- Increase Fiber
- Cut High Fats
- Get movin
